Such mods often die, because players do not like the effects. There are mods which try very hard to get things realistic by modifying damage type reduction, fiddle with armor values, and projectile speeds. That's because you can get to strength 30, power strike 10 and proficiency in the high 500s. Of course, even in the mods you listed, YOUR sword will kill anyone with a single blow, or at most two, at high levels, even in heavy armor. Prophecy of Pendor, Perisno, Floris Expanded all have enemies with levels in the 40s, who will kill you will one blow if they hit you. Many mods achieve a similar effect by having enemies of much higher level than the 20ish at which Native, Gekokujo and Viking Conquest max out.
